My Windows XP HyperPen intermittently loses power or stops working. (USB port) |
 |
Windows XP has the facility to disable the USB port if it thinks that it is running low on power and this can be coupled with the mouse pointer jerking across the screen when you move the mouse.
You can disable this feature from within the Hardware Devices, USB device, but it frequently indicates that you are pushing your power supply beyond its limits and we would suggest running the tablet through a powered USB hub. |

security of your computer...".

What
is Wintab? |
 |
Wintab
is a standard set of programming APIs used by applications
to get tablet inputs to your PC. An application can get
the pen pressure value as well as other tablet buttons
and x,y coordinates information by calling Wintab APIs.
Tablet vendors must support Wintab, so that their tablets
are compatible with all Wintab applications. Please refer
to: http:\\www.pointing.com to get further information about Wintab compliant applications
& tablets.
The following table lists some known Wintab compliant
applications:
PhotoShop,
Illustrator, CorelDraw, PhotoPaint, ArtDabbler, Painter
Classic, Flash 4, Firework, FreeHand 9, Paint Shop Pro,
PhotoImpact 5, MediaStudio Pro(Video Paint 6.0), Cadix
Signature, LView Pro V2.85, Satori WebFX 2000, FineArt
